Opportunity Statement

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable (AP) Manager to oversee AP operations across multiple DBAs within GrubMarket. This role ensures the accounts payable function runs efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with company policies and GAAP. The AP Manager will work closely with Finance, Procurement, Operations, and IT to manage the full AP cycle, vendor relationships, and troubleshoot system-related issues impacting AP processes.

Role Responsibilities
  • Oversee the end-to-end AP cycle for multiple DBAs, including invoice processing, approvals, and payment runs.
  • Manage Bill.com workflows, ensuring accuracy and compliance across entities.
  • Ensure timely and accurate vendor payments while maintaining strong vendor relationships.
  • Monitor AP aging, reconcile vendor statements, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system-related AP issues in coordination with IT and software vendors.
  • Develop, implement, and manage AP policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Collaborate with procurement, operations, and other departments to ensure accurate coding, approvals, and documentation.
  • Prepare and review AP reports to provide actionable insights to management.
  • Support month-end and year-end close activities, including accruals and reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and automation within AP.
  • Perform other ad hoc accounting and finance duties as assigned.
Skills and Experience Required
  • 4+ years of progressive accounts payable experience; multi-entity experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of AP processes, accounting principles, and financial reporting.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve system-related accounting issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong vendor and internal relationships.
  • Highly organized, reliable, detail-oriented, and goal-driven.
  • Strong time management skills with a proactive problem-solving mindset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with NetSuite preferred.
Preferred Education

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (preferred).


Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $110,000–140,000/year
