Terms/Benefits:
Two 3-week sessions 05/27/2025 through 07/17/2025
Monday through Thursday 8:00 am to 2:30 pm
6.5 hours per day plus an additional 24 hours



Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of 3 years secretarial experience, preferably at a high school.
• Familiarity with PowerSchool and Microsoft Excel required.
• Familiarity with EdGENUITY preferred.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manages Summer School student course enrollment in the EdGENUITY platform.
• Runs reports in EdGENUITY.
• Uploads student minutes from EdGENUITY to PowerSchool.
• Communicates with student, parents, and teachers.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Knowledge and understanding of teenagers.
• Skills in human relations skills.
• Ability to deal effectively with matters of confidentiality.
• Knowledge and understanding of administrative and secretarial practices.
• Ability to efficiently complete clerical tasks.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations.
• Ability to work cooperatively and courteously with staff, students, parents and community members.
• Knowledge of applicable Federal and State laws, district procedures and Board policies.
• Ability to handle confrontation and conflict without an emotional response.
• Skills in time management.

General:
Serves as administrative assistant to the Summer School Administrator and performs specialized and complex administrative assistant duties.
