Job Description

PGS Worldwide is currently seeking a skilled Aircraft Structures Mechanic to join the F-16 Production line for a major aerospace client in Greenville, SC . This is a 1-year contract-to-hire opportunity with a firm start date of January 12, 2026 . We are looking for a specialist with at least 8 years of experience and recent hands-on history with heavy precision drilling.

• Schedule: 4/10 work schedule (Monday-Thursday).

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 8 years of aircraft structures/sheet metal experience is required.
• Precision Drilling: Must have CURRENT or RECENT (within the last 2 years) experience actively performing heavy precision drilling, countersinking, and reaming of precision holes on aircraft.
• Physical Requirements: This is hands-on production work. You must possess the ability to climb on fuselage parts, stand, kneel, and go up and down ladders/stands.
• Shift Flexibility: Must be able to work 2nd Shift (4:30 PM - 3:00 AM) or potentially weekends. Block training may occur on 1st or 2nd shift; the final shift will be determined upon completion of training.
• Availability: Must be committed to being onsite in Greenville with all required documents ready for a 1/12/2026 start date .

Job Responsibilities In this role, you will be working on the F-16 Production line, responsible for building up fuselage components and ensuring structural integrity.

• Plan, lay out, fabricate, assemble, install, and repair both internal and external aircraft structures.
• Perform heavy precision drilling, countersinking, and reaming of precision holes for fasteners.
• Install fasteners and drill bulkheads and skins for fuselage build-up.
• Work in accordance with technical manuals, engineering drawings, and FAA regulations.
• Perform bench mechanics duties as required to support production.
