$20.00/Hr Starting

Full time openings: Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays.

Part time openings: Mondays/ Wednesdays/ Fridays. 2-3 days/week (20-30hrs avg)

Hours of work: 7am with an undefined end time. Typical daily hours worked 8-10hrs (3-5pm). OT paid over 40hrs/week.

The Principal duties of a driver/guard is to operate a company vehicle safely and courteously and to guard and assist the messenger/guard as directed in accordance with company policy and procedures as one learns to perform duties as a messenger. Employees are also responsible for completing daily company related tasks as assigned.

To qualify for, and maintain a position with Eastern Armored Services, Inc.
An Individual must meet the following requirements, however not limited to:

• Applicant must be at least 21 years of age
• US Citizen
• Must have a valid drivers license in their state of residency. (CDL not required)
• Have a clean driving record (MVR submission is part of the application process)
• No Criminal History
• Must have, be able to obtain post hire , then maintain during employment, a valid NJ SORA certification (RED CARD) for Armed Officers
• Be able to pass Federal, State, and local background checks
• Must possess, or be willing to obtain a personal firearm (NJ Law) that conforms with company requirements.
• Be able to qualify for, and obtain a permit to carry a handgun within the state of New Jersey (Company assisted process post hire)
• Be able to meet various physical demands, and environmental conditions
• Pass DOT Physical/ Drug screening and meet Company physical ability requirements.
• Good work background and an excellent attendance history
