Audit Senior Associate, Financial Services Join KPMG US as an Audit Senior Associate in the Financial Services sector. We are seeking an experienced professional to drive audit engagements and support our clients across various financial services domains, including securities and exchange commission (SEC) registrants. Responsibilities Execute day‑to‑day audit engagement activities for Financial Services clients. Identify and communicate potential issues and efficiencies to managers and partners. Coordinate audit activities and client interactions, ensuring efficient information flow. Design and execute audit approaches and procedures in line with regulatory standards and KPMG methodology. Maintain current knowledge of accounting literature relevant to the sector. Supervise audit associates and interns, provide coaching, timely feedback, and review documentation. Qualifications Minimum of two years of recent audit experience in public accounting. Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and eligibility to sit for the CPA exam. Applied working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and accounting procedures. Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and research skills with supervisory experience. Experience auditing within the Financial Services sector. Alignment with KPMG's values and code of conduct. Willingness to travel as required.
