About the Role
The Company is seeking a Career Coach to join their dynamic community. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing programs that support high school students in defining their career interests and exploring educational opportunities. This includes meeting with students and families to discuss academic and career goals, as well as facilitating activities such as job shadowing, internships, and apprenticeships. The role also involves maintaining records, evaluating program success, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition for students from high school to post-secondary opportunities. Applicants for the Career Coach position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in secondary and/or post-secondary education. A Master's degree, experience in higher education, and proficiency in a foreign language such as Spanish are preferred. The role requires the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of individuals, including students, parents, teachers, and community leaders. Critical thinking, good judgment, and effective communication skills are essential. The Career Coach will also be expected to engage in professional development activities and represent the company at various events and meetings.
