Manpower Engineering is exclusively partnering with an industry leading, established and growing company on a highly visible and direct hire/permanent Civil Project Engineer position that’s open due to continued growth and has strong advancement potential and based in Tomah, WI or Onalaska, WI.

The company has a very long and strong track record of success – 78 years. They’re an excavating, site grading, gravel crushing and trucking firm. Our client is a family owned and operated business specializing in government, residential and commercial work. Work consists of large and small building sites, grading, landfill construction, road construction, new home sites, site development, road construction, demolition projects, excavation of all types, frac sand mining, water and sewer projects, snow removal, lime service and estimating.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The company is seeking a Civil Project Engineer with a design background. You’ll work with a growing group on a diverse variety of projects.
 
This role will interact and forge long-term relationships with clients and internal customers so you can work towards creating solutions that solve their problems at a whole new level. On any given day, you'll:
  • Assist the Project Manager in the design of municipal and civil engineering projects including sanitary collection and treatment systems, water supply and distribution systems, commercial site development, storm water systems, streets, sand mining and other public infrastructure.
  • Gather and analyze data on municipal and commercial projects and prepare reports.
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • 0+ years of experience/entry-level.
  • Experience in the following is a plus: municipal design, Civil 3D, Roads, MicroStation, GIS, modeling (water, sewer, and stormwater), and construction observation/administration.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
