Job Title: Clinical Data Manager About RDI Research & Development Institute (RDI) is a leader in the clinical research industry, having completed over 200 clinical trials since its founding in 2008. Our national network of physicians and labs supports the largest In Vitro Diagnostic companies by providing essential research data to improve diagnostic tests worldwide. We specialize in sample procurement, clinical testing, and streamlining the trial process for our clients. In addition, we recruit, educate, and train independent physicians to participate in in vitro diagnostic studies, enabling access to valuable patient samples. How You Will Make an Impact As a Clinical Data Manager, you will be at the forefront of our efforts to digitize and transform the clinical trial process. Your role will directly contribute to making RDI a fully digital, data-driven organization. You will: Optimize the operations team's ability to track clinical data and samples. Improve physicians' experience by streamlining data collection processes. Ensure clients receive high-quality, accurate data to enhance diagnostic tests. Tools You Will Use Cloud-based systems, including a customized Salesforce instance, to store and manage clinical trial data. Client-specific electronic data capture systems and customized Excel spreadsheets for data management. Job Responsibilities Manage and ensure accurate, efficient capture of clinical data to meet client requirements. Design and optimize electronic case report forms (eCRFs) to enhance the paperless trial system for physicians and integrate them with automated billing systems. Format electronic data capture for client usability, including standardized date formats and dropdowns. Collaborate with Salesforce developers to improve the functionality of the paperless trial system. Oversee and maintain tablets provided to physicians for electronic data capture. Assist the lab team with data management using Excel and other tools. Develop reports to track study progress, analyze enrollment data, and ensure diversity in demographics and geographic representation. Work with the Chief Operating Officer, Lab Director, and Chief Science Officer to create and manage a Sample Repository system. Contribute to future initiatives, including: Developing a self-serve web portal for onboarding physicians. Building an e-commerce platform to sell banked samples online. Implementing barcoding for documents, supplies, and samples. Automating the integration of medical records with patient databases. Qualifications Experience : 3+ years in diagnostic clinical data management, preferably across multiple therapeutic areas. Hands-on experience with data repositories, biological sample management, clinical data banking, and project management tools. Skills : Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to assess business needs and develop effective data management solutions. Knowledge of Good Clinical Practices (GCPs) and International Conference on Harmonization (ICH) guidelines. Proficiency in Excel, Salesforce, and electronic data capture systems. Education : Bachelor's degree in a related field required; advanced degree preferred. Attributes : Detail-oriented, with the patience and technical expertise to troubleshoot issues with physicians and staff.
