Your Role

As a Clinical Nurse Educator, you will provide nursing education , clinical expertise, and leadership to enhance patient care. You will collaborate with healthcare teams to implement educational curricula and improve clinical outcomes. This is an exciting opportunity for those with extensive nursing experience who are dedicated to making a difference.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide educational leadership to enhance specialized patient care within Intensive Care Units and Step Down Units.
• Assess the quality of care for specific patient populations and create an environment of nursing excellence.
• Coordinate and implement orientation programs for nursing staff, ensuring their progress and addressing any concerns.
• Collaborate with medical providers and unit management to plan and deliver educational curricula.
• Monitor trends and implement educational strategies to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Participate in both formal and informal teaching and coaching of staff nurses and healthcare professionals.

What We’re Looking For

• Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a current Registered Nurse license in Connecticut. A BSN is required; a Master's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Experience: At least five years of progressive experience in clinical practice, nursing education, or nursing management in an acute care setting.
• Skills: Strong leadership, attention to detail, excellent communication, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
