Job Description

SHIFTS AVAILABLE 3-11 FULL TIME only 1 position open

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse
- Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety
- Collect specimens for laboratory testing and perform basic procedures, such as phlebotomy
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by healthcare professionals
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized patient environment
- Document patient information accurately and timely in medical records

Experience:
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Knowledge of behavioral health practices and techniques
- Experience working with children or in pediatric care
- Familiarity with aseptic technique for infection control
- Ability to perform spinal taps and other specialized procedures as required
- Experience with dialysis procedures is a plus
- Proficient in medical documentation and record keeping
- Understanding of hospice care principles and practices

Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Ability to provide compassionate care to patients of all ages and backgrounds
- Excellent observation skills to monitor changes in patient condition or behavior
- Attention to detail for accurate documentation and medication administration
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively within a healthcare team
