The Cyber Information Security Officer is a senior level professional position responsible for driving efforts to prevent, monitor and respond to information/data breaches and cyber-attacks. The overall objective of this role is to ensure the execution of Information Security directives and activities in alignment with Citi's data security policy. Responsibilities include identifying opportunities to automate and standardize information security controls, resolving vulnerabilities or issues detected in applications or infrastructure, analyzing source code to mitigate weaknesses, reviewing and validating automated testing results, scanning and analyzing applications with automated tools and manual testing, reducing risk by analyzing root causes and impacts, directing the development and delivery of secure solutions, and assessing risk with consideration for the firm's reputation and compliance with laws and policies. The role provides expert Cyber Security support and leadership to USPB Branded Cards, Citi Retail Services, and Marketing organizations, offering consistent guidance on Cyber security policies, procedures, and standards. It involves operational support, intelligence gathering, project and program management, analysis, report development, publishing, and briefing to senior leadership. The position requires collaboration with business and Cyber Security professionals to ensure timely and appropriate support, managing brand protection, email security, project security, application security, vulnerability assessments, and regulatory compliance. The officer interacts with partners, vendors, employees, and stakeholders, enhancing current solutions and developing new ones to address evolving cyber threats. Qualifications include 6-10 years of relevant experience, advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, strong communication, influencing and relationship management skills, and analytical skills. Education required is a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with a Master’s degree preferred.
