Job Summary Aligned with a team of Cigna Healthcare client managers, the DAE is a market leader for dental and vision client consultation, supporting Middle Market sales offices within assigned regions. Regions include: Northeast, Southeast, West Coast/Texas Responsibilities include client retention, training/coaching, and product expertise to meet retention and profitability goals. Success factors involve strong sales orientation, influence, credibility, and expertise in Cigna Healthcare’s dental and vision products. The DAE operates independently with limited coaching, supported by management and local sales management. Market Strategy Responsibilities Host bi-annual portfolio reviews with EBSM and client managers to assess risk and develop retention strategies. Develop strategies for each Tier 1 account, focusing on growth, retention, and brand awareness. Host annual meetings with Tier 1 accounts to review utilization and solutions. Support Tier 1 renewals, ensuring strong rate execution and retention. Consult on at-risk cases and participate in finalist meetings to present Cigna solutions. Assist in rolling out new dental and vision initiatives. Maintain communication between Cigna Dental Organization and sales offices, promoting value and competitive insights. Key Responsibilities Achieve persistency goals. Maintain visibility among clients and brokers, understanding their needs and promoting the Value Proposition. Participate in local market discussions and recognize market dynamics for escalation. Update Portfolio Tool weekly for real-time tracking. Promote new dental products and features proactively, coaching sales partners. Maintain knowledge of Cigna dental and vision products through ongoing training. Qualifications College degree or equivalent experience. 5+ years in Dental benefits and healthcare sales, managed dental sales preferred. Ability to work independently, with strong analytical, judgment, and decisiveness skills. Producer license required. Strong influence, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Financial acumen and membership growth focus.
