Position Overview: We are currently seeking a passionate and caring Dental Assistant (DA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our dynamic and friendly team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for working with children, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to friendliness, reliability, teamwork and promoting dental hygiene from an early age.
Responsibilities: - Assist the dentist in delivering high-quality dental care to children of all ages.
- Establish rapport with young patients and parents to create a comfortable and positive dental experience.
- Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for dental procedures.
- Educate children and parents on proper oral hygiene practices.
- Take and develop dental x-rays.
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments.
- Manage and update patient records accurately according to HIPPA guidelines.
- Perform Sealants and Coronal Polish (RDA).
- All other duties of DA or RDA necessary to accomplish our mission.
Requirements: - Certified Dental Assistant (DA) or completion of an accredited dental assisting program.
- RDA license (for RDA positions)
- Current CPR certification.
- Experience working with pediatric patients is highly preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
