Job Description

Brewer Dental Centers is seeking a motivated and friendly Dental Hygienist to join our team in Billings, Montana. We are looking for Dental Hygienists who love to build relationships with their patients while changing lives by improving oral health. Looking for individuals who thrive on helping and educating patients to have and maintain healthy teeth and giving them the confidence they want and need.

Full-time and Part-time available

Pay : $42.00-45.00/hr + Hygiene Bonus Incentive Plan and Signing Bonus!

Location : 710 Maint St., Billings, MT 59105

Position Summary

  • Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examination
  • Sterilize dental instruments properly
  • Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history
  • Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis
  • Clean and help protect patients’ teeth (e.g. remove plaque or apply fluoride)
  • Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques)
  • Give instructions to patients after operations or other dental procedures
  • Assist dentists with selecting appropriate treatments for various diseases (including oral cancer)
  • Maintain documentation and charts on each patient

Requirements

  • Registered Dental Hygienist License in Montana (Required)
  • CPR Certification (Required)
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a dental hygienists
  • Knowledge of dental and equipment and terminologies
  • Experience with medical imaging techniques, such as intraoral and extraoral x-rays
  • Ability to comply with safety procedures, rules and regulations in order to maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Detail orientated and comfortable working a fast-paced office environment
  • Excellent oral communication and strong interpersonal skills
  • Desire and ability to learn new skills and be a team player
  • Commitment to being punctual and reporting to work on time
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
