Responsibilities:

Develop and execute the strategy for new product development and innovation, aligning with business goals and consumer demands.
Conduct thorough market research to uncover new product opportunities and keep up with industry trends.
Lead the product development process from concept through to launch, overseeing formulation, testing, production, and packaging.
Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and operations to ensure smooth product launches.
Ensure new products comply with all relevant food safety, labeling, and regulatory standards.
Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
Manage, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.
Monitor product performance, analyzing market feedback, and making recommendations for improvements or discontinuations as needed.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Nutrition, or a related field is required. An advanced degree is a plus.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in new product development and innovation within the food manufacturing industry.
Proven success in developing and launching innovative food products.
In-depth knowledge of food manufacturing processes, food safety regulations, and labeling requirements.
Strong leadership abilities, with experience motivating and guiding a team.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
Exceptional analytical skills to interpret market data and consumer insights.
Outstanding communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise manner.
A creative mindset with a passion for food and bringing new ideas to life.
