A Car Audio / Navigation System Research & Development Center is currently looking for an Electrical Design Engineer in Peachtree City, GA. Electrical Design Engineer Job Duties: Designs electrical circuits using CFE Creates block diagrams, calculates all interfaces, and simulates schematic designs Maintains all documentations for quality improvement purpose Reviews product specifications from clients Researches unfamiliar technical items that is specific to each specification and project Determines if the parts meet customer's requests/requirements Determines the difficulty of projects for project schedules development Understands project schedules and maintains design goals Evaluates radio reception in field and improve reception performance Plans and conducts performance tests Supports manufacturing activities Clarifies and solves issues step by step as well as keeps records of issues Comprehends design results and communicates with clients Visits clients for meeting of technical issues Visits car dealers when issues arise after the product is installed as needed Prepares presentation documents of technical solutions and results Supports products' certification approvals such as FCC, XM, Dolby, and etc Other job duties are assigned as needed Electrical Design Engineer Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree with Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, and/or related discipline Must have experience to deal with EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) Must have knowledge and deal with CISPR 25, ISO 11452-4, ISO 11452-2 Must have experience with Embedded System Strong communication skills (Reading/Writing/Speaking) Attention to detail Is able to travel up to 25% While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
