About the Role
Myers Controlled Power, LLC. is a leader in delivering innovative energy and infrastructure solutions. We specialize in the design, development, and implementation of power distribution systems for commercial, industrial, and utility clients.
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Electrical Designer with experience in power distribution systems to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll design and develop electrical systems that serve commercial, industrial, and utility clients, with a focus on medium and low voltage applications.
What You’ll Do
· Create and revise electrical drawings, schematics, and layouts using AutoCAD or similar software
· Design power distribution systems to meet client and code requirements (5Kv-38Kv)
· Support production during assembly/wiring process.
· Modify design documents per customer input and submit for re-approval.
· Create electrical bill of materials and log data in manufacturing data base.
· Ensure compliance with NEC, NESC, IEEE, and company design standards
· Support field and construction teams with redlines, as-builts, and design clarifications
What You Bring
· Associate’s degree in electrical technology or 4+ years’ experience in with medium voltage, preferably in power distribution.
· Proficiency with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar drafting tools
· Strong understanding of NEC and electrical distribution standards
· Effective communication and team collaboration skills
