Shift: 6:00 pm 6:00 am, rotating shifts. Work 2 days; off 2 days; work 3 days; off 2 days
Reports To: Electrical Supervisor
Job Purpose: To perform complex predictive and preventative electrical maintenance functions and make necessary repairs to plant electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot electrical problems, make decisions necessary to repair, and restore equipment to design specifications.
- Perform electrical tests using megger, OHM meter, and other test equipment.
- Perform work utilizing prints and/or computer logic.
- Perform complex predictive and preventative electrical maintenance functions.
- Make process control changes.
- Read wiring and circuit diagrams.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Perform other duties as necessary.
- Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations.
Skills, Knowledge, Abilities:
- 1 year of PLC experience required.
- Minimum of 2 years work experience in either electrical troubleshooting, motors and controls, or industrial electrical.
- Ability to read, understand and follow safety rules and regulations.
- Ability to use a 2-way radio and effectively communicate with all departments.
- Ability to operate a forklift.
- Ability to use ladders, hand and packaging tools.
