Duties & Responsibilities Review and process insurance documents such as applications, claims, policies, endorsements, and invoices Assess risk factors to determine coverage eligibility Ensure all underwriting information is complete; request additional documents as needed (e.g., loss runs, applications, financial statements) Enter data into AmLINK and upload documents for the internal accounting team Calculate premiums and develop policy quotes based on risk evaluation using our portal Respond to inquiries from agents, underwriters, and clients regarding policy terms and coverage Update internal databases with policy changes Build relationships with clients, agents, and underwriters Coordinate with other departments to provide underwriting services Respond promptly to policy requests from markets and agents Make thoughtful decisions through problem-solving and clear communication, both written and verbal Maintain organized and detailed underwriting files Manage multiple tasks efficiently, meet deadlines, and prioritize under the guidance of the Underwriter Knowledge & Experience Degree in business, finance, or risk management and insurance (new graduates welcome) Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Ability to work under supervision following established instructions, policies, and procedures #J-18808-Ljbffr Amwins
