Volt is immediately hiring a Event Coordinator / Administrative Assistant for immediate hire with a top manufacturing company in San Diego, CA.
As a Event Coordinator / Administrative Assistant you will:
- Oversee all aspects of building operations to ensure optimal customer satisfaction and security
- Coordinating meeting spaces, catering, luncheons, etc
- Handle maintenance, Wi-Fi connectivity, and replenishment of supplies
- Coordinate customer trips from beginning to end; preparing agendas, catering, scheduling them on customer yacht, hosting tours and creating an overall customer experience unique to each visitor
- Inventory and budget management
- Manage calendar and communicate with the crew of scheduled events
- Provide administrative support to management; scheduling of meetings and booking trips
This position is temp in nature, expected to last 60-90 days. It offers a foot in the door of a top organization. Hours are full time, onsite, M-F.
Requirements:
- 1 – 2 years of administrative support with some event planning
- Must be proficient in using MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong communication skills
Pay Rate: $28-33/hr
** Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
