We’re currently seeking Event Servers to join our on-demand hospitality and event operations team in New York, NY. Job Summary

As a server with Golive! Staffing, you’ll be placed at top-tier locations, from event centers, vineyard estates and catering events to stadiums and corporate dining. You decide when and where you want to work. There’s no fixed schedule—you’re in control.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver five-star, white-glove service while managing 3–4 tables with precision and professionalism
• Anticipate guest needs and remain composed under pressure, even during high-volume or short-staffed situations
• Provide polished service to VIP and high-profile guests, handling concerns with discretion and professionalism
• Present, open, and pour wine correctly following fine dining standards
• Accurately communicate and accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies, ensuring guest safety
• Coordinate seating plans and adapt to last-minute guest changes or event adjustments seamlessly
• Lead and support plated dinner service, ensuring synchronized timing and flawless execution with the kitchen and FOH team
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption, follow service laws, and maintain guest safety (including offering safe transport if necessary)
• Maintain full knowledge of menus, food & beverage prep, and selling points to enhance the dining experience
• Train, support, and assist fellow servers or FOH staff when needed to ensure smooth service flow
• Set, clear, and reset tables while maintaining cleanliness and an organized service area
• Arrive on time in a polished uniform, ready to deliver excellence at every shift

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Event server in a full-service or high-volume banquet setting.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with food safety standards.
• Smartphone and email access for easy scheduling and communication.
• Reliable transportation to reach multiple event locations.
• Required uniform: white or black dress shirt, black slacks, black non-slip shoes, black belt, and bistro apron.
