Our busy restaurant is looking for servers with a friendly smile and a cheerful customer service attitude to set the tone for our guests to enjoy their dining experience with us.

• You will serve our guests in the restaurant by ensuring that they are seated promptly, their orders are taken, prepared, and served timely, and that tables are cleaned and ready for the next guests.
• Our ideal candidate maintains a friendly and courteous demeanor toward our guests and coworkers while providing exceptional customer service to our guests.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome customers upon arrival and promptly seat them, take food and beverage orders from diners, serve meals, and meet any special requirements or requests.
• Establish a full knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials to respond to client inquiries and make recommendations.
• Serve alcoholic beverages in a responsible manner and in compliance with state laws.
• Accept correct payment from guests and guarantee the accuracy of the guest check and manner of payment to protect both the client and the business from any transaction mistakes.
• Perform all sidework, restocking and cleaning activities as directed, including opening and closing duties.

Qualifications:

• Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification.
• Previous experience working in food service is preferred.
• Proven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentality.
• Outstanding time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers and other team members.

Scheduling and Compensation:

• Work schedule may vary based on business levels.
• Night and weekend availability is a must.

We are a central PA family owned and operated sports pub, having been around since 1972. We are most known for our World Famous Original Stromboli and friendly down-home service.
