Job Title:  Field Marketing Specialist –  The Ultimate Connector

Location:  Austin, TX (Hybrid: Office & Remote)

Travel:  Up to 50% (Where the action happens)

We’re a fast-moving federal IT reseller backed by strong OEM partnerships—and we’re looking for a  Field Marketing Specialist  who can make our events unforgettable, our teams unstoppable, and our brand impossible to ignore.

We need a high-energy, detail-loving connector who thrives on bringing people, events, and campaigns together. From coordinating trade shows and national sales kickoffs to managing branded swag and tracking budgets, you’ll be at the heart of the action—supporting sales, amplifying our brand, and driving real business outcomes.

What You’ll Do

You're the person who makes it all happen. Your day-to-day includes:

  • Own Event Execution:
  • Plan, manage, and execute company-wide events including trade shows, partner activations, sales kickoffs, and internal campaigns—from logistics and design to setup and teardown.
  • Be the Brand Onsite:
  • Represent IMPRES at federal IT events, trade shows, and conferences. You’ll be the friendly face prospects, partners, and customers remember.
  • Find What’s Next:
  • Research and recommend new trade shows, conferences, and events aligned with our federal mission and growth goals.
  • Manage Leads & Follow-Up:
  • Gather, organize, and distribute leads from campaigns and events—ensuring sales gets the info they need, fast.
  • Create Campaign Content:
  • Design event invites, partner communications, and marketing materials. Bonus if you’re comfortable using Canva or Adobe Suite.
  • MDF Champion:
  • Track and allocate MDF budgets by segment and partner, gather proof of performance, and coordinate claims submission with OEMs.
  • Swag & Gear Management:
  • Source and design branded giveaways, track inventory, and ensure event materials and booth equipment are shipped and returned in good shape.
  • Collaborate Across Teams:
  • Work with sales, partner managers, marketing, and operations to execute events and marketing efforts that support million-dollar deals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in field marketing, events, or a similar B2B role
  • Based in Austin, TX or willing to relocate
  • Comfortable with up to 50% travel
  • Experience with CRM and marketing tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce)
  • Proficiency in basic design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
