Forklift Driver Reach Truck / Cherry Picker / Sit Down

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Driver to join our team in Olathe, KS. This role is perfect for an experienced forklift operator looking for a flexible, one-day-a-week schedule. If you have forklift experience and a strong attention to safety, we encourage you to apply!

Pay: $19.50 per hour
Work Hours: Monday - Friday , 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Position Summary:
As a Forklift Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating forklifts to move materials, load and unload shipments, and maintain an organized warehouse. Your expertise in forklift operation will help ensure smooth and efficient warehouse operations.

Essential Functions / Job Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials.
• Transport inventory to designated areas in the warehouse.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of forklift experience.
• Valid forklift certification preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality.
• Strong attention to safety and warehouse protocols.

Skills Required:

• Proficiency in operating forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

Physical Requirements:
The physical demands of this position include lifting and carrying heavy items, standing, bending, and operating forklifts for extended periods. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Internal and External Interaction:
This position requires regular interaction with warehouse staff, supervisors, and occasionally with vendors to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
