FULL-TIME FARM HELP WANTED – FAMILY FARM – LONG TERM (SHOEMAKERSVILLE)

We’re looking for a reliable and enthusiastic superstar to join our small family farm. This is a full-time, long-term position for someone who truly enjoys working with animals and being outdoors in all seasons.

ABOUT THE FARM:
We raise the following animals on pasture using a rotational grazing model (no horses or cattle):
40 alpacas & llamas
30 goats
25 pigs
100 laying hens
15 sheep

JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:
Feeding and watering all animals each morning
Observing animals daily for any issues
Collecting and washing eggs
Scooping manure and managing compost
Assisting with herd health (weighing, checking animals and calming during treatments)
Grounds maintenance (mowing, weed whacking and general clean up)
Moving portable fencing and shelters for rotational grazing
Seasonal farm chores/projects
Driving UTV/ATV
Leading an occasional farm tours (if interested)

REQUIREMENTS:
Must be comfortable working with large and small animals
Physically fit and able to handle daily manual labor
Dependable, observant, and motivated
Willing to commit long-term (this is not a seasonal or short-term job)
Some previous farm experience is required!
