Job Title: General Manager
Primary Function: We are a Design / Build, Electrical Construction Firm, specializing in construction within Manufacturing and Industrial facilities. We also have a Water / Wastewater Utility Department, and a Service Department.
Description: Overall Management of Field and Office operations
Duties:
1. Oversee Field Operations
2. Interview, hire, fire, promote personnel
3. Prepare or review estimates from plans or design build
4. Review Contracts
5. Prepare Proposals
6. Profit and Loss Responsibility
7. Job Site Inspections for Quality, Safety and Efficiency
Requirements: This position requires strong management skills, must be able to market and develop new customers-sales, compliance and knowledge of the NEC, Computer skills, AutoCAD (a plus), estimating, manpower scheduling skills, strong documentation skills, and good leadership skills. Must have the ability to successfully manage and lead a mid-size industrial electrical construction company
1. Experience
a. 10 Years bidding and managing Design Build Projects $50K to $4MM
b. 5 years minimum Electrical Contracting Management
c. Rose through the ranks of the electrical trade attending certified electrical programs
d. Working knowledge of Manufacturing Facilities, Water and Waste Water Plants
e. Securing City and County Permits
2. Master Electricians License- REQUIRED
3. Ability to Design including Load Calculations, Service Design, Voltage Drop, Conduit and wire Calculations.
4. Knowledge of Motor Controls & PLC’s; general instrumentation
5. Sales experience and knowledge of the Houston/Harris Co. market
6. Not required but a Plus— local following of tradesmen, business contacts

Salary: $110,000-$150,000/year with Incentive Bonus
