LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced and motivated Global Travel Consultant to join our client's Aviation team. This role is responsible for managing global travel logistics and crew rotations while ensuring compliance with travel programs, policies, and procedures. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional customer service and tailored travel solutions for both international and domestic travelers.
Job Title: Global Travel Consultant
Location: Houston, Texas 77046 (Remote – must be local for initial onsite training)
Pay rate: $24–$30 per hour
Contract Type: Contract (with potential for full-time conversion)
Work Schedule: 9/80
Key Responsibilities
Manage complex international and domestic travel arrangements, including crew rotations.
Utilize Sabre GDS for fare construction, exchanges, and ticketing.
Provide high-quality traveler support and resolve issues promptly.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless travel experiences.
Maintain compliance with corporate travel policies and cost-effective solutions.
Support a positive, inclusive work environment and contribute to team projects.
Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
5+ years of professional travel consulting experience.
2+ years handling complex international ticketing.
2+ years using native Sabre GDS (minimal reliance on scripts).
Must have Sabre or other GDS (Apollo, Worldspan) experience.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
Proficiency with travel management tools, Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, and SharePoint.
Experience in traveler-facing customer service.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Travel Management, Hospitality, or related field.
In-house corporate travel experience.
Familiarity with Concur Travel administration.
Experience managing large-scale crew changes.
Leadership or supervisory experience.
