Join to apply for the Head of Corporate Communications role at Panda Restaurant Group 1 week ago Be among the first 25 applicants Job Summary The Head of Corporate Communications is a strategic thought leader and expert communicator, responsible for developing, integrating, and implementing a broad range of communications and stakeholder management strategies that support the company’s vision, culture, and business plans. This role involves translating strategies into clear, consistent messaging across multiple channels for Panda guests, associates, community, and government partners, in partnership with and in service to executive leadership. The leader also provides strategic and tactical communications support for other internal functions and departments. The Head of Corporate Communications leads the entire communications team. Key Responsibilities Strategy and Planning: Create annual and long-term corporate communications and public affairs strategies that support PRG’s vision, culture, and brands. Public Relations: Enhance PRG brands through strategic media engagement, establishing Panda Express as an industry leader and community-focused organization. Manage external agencies. Executive Communications: Build relationships with executives, develop key messages, script speeches, and prepare presentations to amplify thought leadership. Internal Communications: Lead communication efforts to showcase company culture via events and podcasts. Manage content creation and channels for unified operations. Issues Management: Anticipate and manage brand reputation issues, lead crisis communications, and advise senior leadership on critical issues. Community Relations: Develop community partnership strategies, oversee charitable activities, and foster community advocacy. People and Team Development: Build and support a high-performing communications team aligned with company values and strategic goals.
