Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12

Responsible for the cleaning and preparation of rooms for the hotel guests in compliance with the hotel brand standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Clean assigned rooms according to system standards and best methods.
• This includes but is not limited to making beds, cleaning bathrooms, and dusting furniture.
• Place and restock usable items in the guest room, including paper items, soap, towels, etc., according to hotel standards.
• Operate housekeeping equipment in a correct and safe manner. Report any equipment malfunctions to the General Manager and/or the Maintenance department.
• Assist with guest laundry completion as required.
• Maintain and restock the housekeeping cart each day.
• Know hotel emergency procedures and be prepared to carry them out.
• Responsible for the proper administration of key control for issued keys or keys left by guests in the room.
• Follow the Lost and Found program.
• Report immediately to the General Manager any “out of the ordinary” situations in the guests’ room, including parties in the room, unusually dirty rooms, or a vacant room when the room is thought to be occupied.
• Complete maintenance work orders and deliver them to designated areas in a timely manner.
• Accommodate guest special requests courteously and with a sense of priority.
• Answer guests’ questions regarding local area facilities and services.
• Expected to carry out all reasonable requests by Managers/Supervisors that the associate can perform.

The hotel is open 7 days a week; weekends and holidays may be required.

Experience:

• Hotel Housekeeper: 1 year (Preferred).
