Develop an in-depth understanding of companys business and its competitive and risk environment and serve as a trusted partner by providing timely legal counsel and practical guidance. Manages claims, disputes and litigation brought by and against the company and manages outside counsel. Developing and implementing the companys litigation strategy with respect to specific cases; selecting, managing, and improving the performance of outside counsel; and keeping leadership apprised of material case progression, along with legal and business risks and opportunities.
