Job Description

Trinity Industries is looking for a motivated Summer Intern to join our Internal Audit department. This position offers hands-on experience in internal audit and SOX control testing, providing a valuable opportunity to gain practical insights into the field.

Responsibilities

• Participate in internal audit and SOX control testing.
• Collaborate with the Internal Audit team to ensure compliance with SOX regulations.
• Assist in the preparation and review of audit documentation.
• Provide support in the evaluation of internal controls and risk management processes.

Qualifications

• Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Students with exposure to College Internal Audit Programs, such as those at UTD, TAMU, and LSU, are highly preferred)
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent attention to detail. Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Experience: Prior experience or coursework in internal audit or SOX compliance is a plus
