Position: Investment Banking Analyst – Internship (Ideally Full-Time Conversion)

Hudson Murray is a boutique investment bank based in New York City, specializing in M&A advisory for Consumer and Technology companies. We are seeking a highly motivated recent graduate to join our team as an Analyst Intern. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience working on live transactions and strategic initiatives in a lean and entrepreneurial environment.

Please note: this is an in-person role in NYC, intended for recent graduates (not undergraduates). Candidates must be willing to relocate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to active M&A transactions, including financial modeling, industry research, and preparation of client materials and presentations.
• Work closely with senior bankers to support deal execution and business development efforts.
• Assist with internal initiatives focused on increasing efficiency through AI tools and other emerging technologies.
• Conduct market and company research to support client engagements and pitch materials.
• Help prepare internal strategy materials and client deliverables across a range of projects.

Qualifications:

• Recent graduate with knowledge of finance, accounting, or investment banking fundamentals.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; strong financial modeling and analytical skills are a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive, self-starting, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, unstructured environment.
• Demonstrated interest in AI and using technology to drive smarter workflows.
• Previous internship or work experience in investment banking, private equity, consulting, or a startup is a plus.
