Japanese Translator

$65-$75K -

My client is seeking a skilled Japanese Translator to support their translation efforts on an as-needed basis.

Overview:
We are seeking a flexible and detail-oriented Contract Japanese Translator to support various translation needs as they arise. This role involves providing verbal and written translation assistance to ensure clear communication across projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide verbal translation during meetings, calls, or other spoken interactions as needed.
  • Translate documents, emails, and other written materials between Japanese and English, ensuring accuracy and cultural appropriateness.
  • Maintain consistency and quality in translations across different types of content.
  • Collaborate with team members to grasp the context, tone, and nuances of the material for accurate interpretation.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in both Japanese and English (spoken and written).
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality translations.
  • Ability to work on an as-needed basis with flexibility to meet project requirements.
  • Familiarity with business or technical terminology (preferred but not required).
