Job Overview: Our client is seeking Junior Scrum Master to support the FBI Team in Huntsville, AL. The ideal candidate will facilitate Scrum processes and ensure the team adheres to agile practices. The Junior Scrum Master will work closely with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to remove obstacles, track progress, and promote continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Assist in facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and sprint reviews. Support the team in maintaining a healthy and productive agile environment. Monitor and report on sprint progress and resolve issues that may hinder team performance. Help remove impediments and escalate blockers as needed to ensure project success. Foster open communication between team members and stakeholders. Support the Product Owner in managing the product backlog and ensuring clear and achievable sprint goals. Promote continuous improvement and best practices within the Scrum framework. Track and report key metrics, such as velocity, sprint burndown, and team performance. Required Skills Agile Methodology: Strong understanding of Scrum and Agile principles. Facilitation: Ability to facilitate Scrum ceremonies (stand-ups, planning, retrospectives, etc.). Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Team Collaboration: Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional teams. Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and address obstacles that affect team performance. Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Clearance: Active Top-Secret Clearance is required. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 2+ years of experience in an Agile environment, preferably as a Scrum Master or in a Scrum support role. Familiarity with agile tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar.
