Job Description Role: Lead SDET Duration: 6 month+ contract Location: Seattle, WA Description: Develop and implement test automation on the point of sale application. This is the flagship application accounting for a large portion of company revenue. The work would consist of automation unit and functional tests on a small Kanban team focused on production defect fixes as well as backlog items. Technical Experience and Skills: Strong experience with Microsoft stack C# .NET, SQL, Visual Studio Online. Strong experience designing and implementing automation frameworks and/or developing applications. Experience working in agile environments (scrum, Kanban). Experience developing and utilizing mocks, stubs, emulators (Microsoft fakes framework and/or custom developed mocks). Experience implementing Continuous Integration with TFS (CI), builds, source code management best practices. Experience writing and executing unit tests to increase code coverage and quality. Bonus Skills: Experience automating and utilizing VMware Vcloud Virtual Machine management. POS development and/or testing experience. Web Dev skills (HTML, JavaScript) for reporting and communicating. Performance Testing.
