Job Description
GENERAL DESCRIPTION :
At DK Law, we don’t just represent our clients. We stand with them-all the way.
We’re modern injury and accident attorneys who go all the way for every client, from every background. At the heart of our work is a simple but powerful belief: every client’s experience matters, and we honor it as if it were our own. From the very first call to the final resolution, we approach every case with the mindset that it’s going the distance.
That same mindset fuels our workplace culture. We’re a team of purpose-driven professionals who care deeply, move fast, and never lose sight of the human side of what we do. If you're passionate about making an impact, growing with a team that values excellence and empathy, and being part of something bigger, we’d love to meet you.
We are seeking a strategic and experienced Legal Recruiter to lead our recruitment efforts and drive growth across all departments. This individual will collaborate closely with our internal team and hiring managers to streamline and manage the full lifecycle of talent acquisition. The Legal Recruiter will lead end-to-end talent acquisition for attorneys, paralegals, legal support staff and corporate functions. This role is critical to scaling our team strategically, ensuring cultural fit, and positioning the firm as an employer of choice in the legal community.
ESSENTIAL
Partner with department leaders to understand staffing needs and hiring goals. Manage the end-to-end recruitment process: sourcing, reviewing profiles, coordinating interviews, and facilitating offers. Act as a liaison between hiring managers and recruiting partners to ensure timely updates and smooth scheduling. Design and implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract top legal and administrative talent. Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future roles. Lead employment branding initiatives to promote our firm as an employer of choice. Analyze hiring metrics to continuously improve recruitment processes and candidate experience. Mentor and oversee recruiting team members or external partners as needed.
• Optimize recruitment workflows (sourcing → onboarding) to reduce time-to-fill for critical roles.
• Promote the firm’s reputation through Glassdoor, LinkedIn, and networking events.
• Build talent pipelines for high-demand roles (e.g., pre-litigation attorneys, bilingual paralegals).
• Develop compelling job descriptions and maintaining updated job descriptions
• Monitor competitor hiring trends and compensation benchmarks.
• Train hiring managers on structured interviewing techniques and bias mitigation.
• Ensure compliance with EEO and state bar advertising rules for legal hires.
• Implement ATS to streamline candidate tracking.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
• 5+ years in full-cycle recruitment, with a minimum of two years’ experience in a law firm or corporate legal department required.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field.
• Familiarity with legal roles (Attorneys, Paralegals, Legal Assistants), non-legal roles (Accounting, IT, Marketing) and industry hiring norms.
• Expertise with LinkedIn, Job Boards, ATS platforms and candidate assessment tools.
• Knowledge of employment law (FLSA, FMLA, state bar compliance).
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly resourceful, proactive, and organized
• Experienced in HRIS, ATS systems and data analysis tools.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, including word processing, spreadsheets, and other relevant business software and databases
• Proactive and resourceful: Work independently, ability to influence, and deliver results in challenging situations
• The ability to handle multiple deadlines while remaining responsive to urgent or intervening business needs.
• Strong work ethics and integrity
