Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Litigation Paralegal/Para-Secretary to join our team. You will be responsible for the coordination of all the details before, during, and after trial. The successful candidate will be able to provide assistance during all phases of the litigation process including working with clients, drafting discovery, document filing and attending trials.

Quarterly bonus opportunities are available in addition to a competitive salary.

Compensation: Depends on experience.

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions and CMC statements and file them with the court
• Perform administrative duties (calendar hearings and deadlines, organize case files, manage logistics, etc.)
• Organize exhibits, evidence and production documents
• Draft interrogatories and other discovery requests and responses
• Gather relevant information from a variety of sources
• Aid attorneys in trial preparation
• Provide assistance with case settlements

Skills

• Proven working experience as a litigation paralegal
• Applicable knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules and procedures, practices, and deadline
• Highly organized with ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong writing and communication skills along with attention to detail
• Extensive computer expertise

Work Location: In person. Remote may be considered based on experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour (depends on experience)

Quarterly bonus structure
