Job Description
We seek a compassionate and dedicated live-in caregiver for an 88-year-old client in Potomac, Maryland.
Our client has advanced dementia. She has a hospital bed, wheelchair, and needs help with transfers and moving around. The caregiver will provide continual supervision to ensure her safety, assisting with incontinence, bathing, dressing, meal preparation, feeding, and offering companionship and activities, like singing, reading, conversing, and sitting outside. While the client can be receptive to assistance, she often experiences confusion. We seek an individual capable of engaging the client in daily activities and attending to her essential care needs. Experience with a manual Hoyer lift and the ability to lift clients is mandatory for this position.
