Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Loader/Unloader to join our team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient movement of goods and materials within the facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse distribution and be comfortable operating various types of equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials from trucks and containers with precision and care.
• Operate forklifts, clamp trucks, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
• Utilize RF scanners to track inventory accurately during shipping and receiving processes.
• Perform order picking tasks, ensuring that items are selected accurately according to specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
• Follow all OSHA guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and address any operational issues.

Skills

• Proven experience in warehouse operations, including materials handling and shipping & receiving.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems for tracking inventory levels.
• Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment as needed.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks consistently throughout the shift.
• Experience with order picking, including the use of order pickers and pallet jacks.
• Knowledge of crane operation is a plus, as well as any prior construction experience.
