An employer in the Greensboro, NC area is seeking a Loan Processor for their Eastern Region Loan Production Department. The primary responsibility of this position is to accurately and efficiently process all chattel loans received over the phone or in person, to include documentation, closing, and funding. In addition, the incumbent must ensure compliance with Federal, State, local laws, NCUA Regulations, HUD guidelines, and company Lending Policies.

Must Haves:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 Years of Customer Service Experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Strong ability to work independently & efficiently

Plusses:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Previous Loan Processing Experience
• Experience with Mortgage Flex

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Ensure mortgage loan packages are complete to include receipt of collateral documentation and security instruments, and input additional information, as needed, to the FICS MS system
• Conduct all loan verifications, i.e. income, rental, employment, etc.
• Prepare closing packages and send to source/customer/attorney for closing of loan
• Receive and audit completed closing package from source to ensure all conditions have been met
• Conduct final interview with customer to ensure home is complete
• Perform a variety of customer service related tasks by providing information and assistance to both external customers, and office personnel via telephone, email, or letter inquiries
