TheraEx Staffing Services - APP is seeking a Physician Assistant Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery for a locum tenens job in Clackamas, Oregon.
Job Details:
• Pay: $130 Hr.
• Coverage dates: ASAP – 3-6 Months with option to extend
• Cardiothoracic Physician Assistant or Experienced Nurse Practitioner (Must have RNFA Certification if NP)
• Setting: Hospital & Clinic settings
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, OR – 7:00a-3:45p; Inpatient Rounding 7:15a-3:45p
• Daily Responsibilities: Inpatient Rounding, OR (Mainly Hospital) – Depending on how many cases prescheduled, 1 provider scheduled for OR, 1 Back up, and 2 scheduled to do the rounding on the floor. Depending on providers skill level, they may be assigned to OR.
• Pulling Epicardial Wires, Chest Tubes, Vein Harvesting and MUST be proficient in EVH and First Assist. Radial artery harvest experience
• Call Schedule/Responsibilities: 1:4 Rotation between providers. 1:4 weekday and 1:4 weekends. On Weekdays will likely get a handful of calls but rarely go in. On Weekends, Provider will round in the AM for a few hours then be on call the remainder of the time. Will take calls but not likely to go back in.
• Patients per shift: Generally, 2 OR cases per day. 10-15 patients per day if they are rounding.
• EMR: Epic
• Credentialing timeframe: 45-60 Days upon application submitted.
Requirements:
• Active unrestricted OR License
• Active ACLS & BLS certifications
• Minimum 3 years of experience
• Board Certified
• Vaccination Requirement: Required with Booster
• Full-time coverage is mandatory—no deviations from the requested schedule will be accepted.
• Must be able to provide at least 2 supervisory references.
