TheraEx Staffing Services - APP is seeking a Physician Assistant Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery for a locum tenens job in Yuma, Arizona.
Job Details:
• We need a PA or NP that specifically has experience managing post-op cardiothoracic surgery patients in the ICU and telemetry floor. They also need operative experience in assisting the surgeon as well as radial artery and endoscopic vein harvesting skills.
• Hemopro system for harvesting.
• Cardio OR (Cardiovascular Operating Room), Level 2 trauma
• Required: EVH Harvesting, ICU Management, Stepdown Management, Office Visits, Database Entry (i.e. STS), Open Radial Artery Harvest, & Endoscopic Radial Artery.
• Willing to Train - ICU Procedures (Chest tube insertions, Central lines, etc.)
• Shift details: Days, 8 hr or 10 hr.
• EMR: Epic
• Client may cancel hours equivalent to the weekly guaranteed hours for the assignment 36, 40, or 48 for a 13 week assignment. For all 26-week assignments, the cancellation policy will be doubled.
Requirements:
• Active unrestricted AZ License
• Active ACLS & BLS certifications
• First Assistant in Surgery Certification
• CVOR Experience REQUIRED
• 3 years of experience
• Board Certified
• Must be able to provide at least 2 supervisory references.
