Job Description

A well-established and growing company in the manufacturing and distribution space is seeking a strategic, action-oriented Logistics Manager to lead operations across two key facilities in Montebello and Santa Fe Springs. This is a high-impact role responsible for driving efficiencies, leading change initiatives, and optimizing logistics processes to support ongoing business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily logistics, warehousing, and shipping/receiving operations across two sites.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Support and execute warehouse layout redesigns and relocation planning.
  • Drive cost-saving strategies and manage logistics budgets effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with up-to-date international tariff regulations, import/export laws, and customs procedures.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and report weekly to company leadership at the Irvine headquarters.
  • Champion safety, supplier management, and continuous improvement culture.
  • Leverage technology to improve visibility, reporting, and performance tracking.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; relevant field preferred.
  • Proven experience in logistics, warehouse management, and international supply chain operations.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma tools and methodology.
  • Experience leading warehouse layout transitions and operational improvements.
  • Budget management and supplier/vendor negotiation experience.
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable implementing logistics and warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Understanding of U.S. and global tariff codes, import/export documentation, and compliance.
  • Action-oriented, collaborative, and safety-focused leadership style.
