Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Lumper to join our team in a fast-paced distribution center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the timely and accurate handling of materials, ensuring that products are loaded and unloaded efficiently. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a warehouse environment.

1st shift 6am-2:30pm

2nd shift 3pm to 11pm

need to be able to do 3 to 5 containers must be done per shift

Production pay average $17 to $19 an hour.

Offloading by hand, need Orange safety vest.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload products from trucks and containers by hand or using appropriate equipment.
• Perform order picking tasks to fulfill customer orders accurately.
• Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory and manage stock levels.
• Assist in building pallets for storage or shipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and address any operational issues.
• Adhere to safety protocols while performing heavy lifting tasks.

Skills

• Proficient in materials handling techniques within a warehouse setting.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems for tracking inventory.
• Strong ability to perform heavy lifting, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
• Experience in order picking processes to ensure accuracy in fulfilling orders.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and supervisors.
• Strong organizational skills to maintain an orderly workspace in a busy distribution center.
