Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced marketing copywriter professional with a pristine portfolio of writing samples in the corporate world. Ideally, this candidate will have experience working for top marketing agencies, insurance agencies, pharmaceuticals, or automotive corporations. The copywriter will support all aspects of digital and print content development by working closely with stakeholders and marketing team members. This is a hands-on position for a creative and detail-oriented marketer. Auto industry or insurance experience is a plus but not required.

Nestled inside a corporate F&I company is a creative marketing department that needs an expert copywriter with at least 8 years of professional experience to help grow our internal brands (It’s also a HUGE plus if you’re a car enthusiast).

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Alignment and implementation of the brands strategies through hands-on development and placement of print and digital collateral – including news and feature articles, executive communications, campaigns, events, blog, social media, email, video scripts, whitepapers and PR
• Development and implementation of optimized web content across multiple brand properties
• Work closely with the product management team to define marketing materials and programs
• Work closely with the company’s sales and customer support teams; enabling them to meet their commercial objectives by providing them with appropriate tools, materials, and presentations
• Collaborate in management of social media presence and direct programs to improve social media reputation and recognition
• Collaborate in management of advertising placements and work closely with the designer to ensure timely development and delivery of relevant creative concepts
• Undertake continuous analysis of competitive environment and dealer and consumer trends and develop short and long-term marketing forecasts to inform content
• Develop process and calendarization of outbound communications
• Develop relationships with media outlets and push content to various publishers
• Performs other duties will be at the discretion of management
• Develop big idea advertising campaigns across multiple brands in collaboration with design

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in English, Professional Writing, Journalism or related field required, Master's Degree preferred
• Minimum of 8-10 years of professional copywriting experience in a corporate marketing department
• Previous experience in agency marketing, insurance, financial services, pharmaceutical, healthcare or automotive industries
• Public relations experience preferred
• Superior written communication and proofreading skills
• Proven track record of successful marketing-based roles
• Strong knowledge of SEO best practices
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to spot original branding opportunities
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet crucial deadlines
• Excellent project management, time management, and organizational skills
• Must be able to submit portfolio of work when applying
