Job Description

We seek qualified part-time math tutors to work with small groups and individuals in preparation for the SATs and ACTs. Tutors specializing in biology, chemistry, or physics are preferred, but all instructors must be able to tutor math for the standardized tests. We are interested in hiring someone with the drive and creativity to develop their own take on the course curriculum and provide an engaging environment for our students.We schedule tutors based on shift availability. During the school year, the shifts are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday and 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Monday through Thursday. During the summer, the shifts are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday through Thursday. We seek candidates who can consistently be available for at least three full shifts, including at least one weekday shift, and can tutor for at least six months.This is not a remote position.
