Recruiter Summary of Position

Job Title: Network Architect (Fortinet)

Location: Indianapolis, Indiana (Main office). Open to remote candidates outside this area.

Travel: 25% travel for project-based work.

Work Arrangement: Remote/travel for out-of-state candidates. Hybrid (3 days per week in-office) for local candidates.

Note: Open to Network Architect , Lead Network Security Engineer , and Senior Network Engineer candidates. Technical design/implementation experience required.

Required Technical Skills:

  • 7+ years of experience in network design, implementation, and security.
  • Fortinet firewalls & security appliances ( FortiGate , FortiManager , FortiAnalyzer ). Advanced configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization.
  • Cisco routing/switching/wireless solutions. Cisco ASA Firewalls.
  • Deep expertise in network security and vulnerability remediation.
  • Hands-on experience with advanced security tools (multi-factor authentication, IPS/IDS, SIEM, and geo-blocking).
  • Proven ability to lead complex client-facing projects.

Preferred Technical Skills:

  • Meraki routing, switching, and wireless solutions
  • Ekahau, Wireshark, SolarWinds, network monitoring and performance optimization tools.
  • Experience working within regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, finance).
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred, but strong experience is acceptable).

 

Preferred Certifications: Fortinet NSE 4–7, Cisco CCNP, Meraki CMNA, CompTIA Security+ (or equivalent).

Network Architect (Fortinet)

As a Network Architect, you’ll be the trusted technical leader designing and securing vital network systems that keep our clients’ businesses running smoothly and safely. You won’t just build networks, you'll solve complex challenges, guide junior engineers, and partner closely with clients to deliver smart, resilient solutions. This role gives you the chance to lead impactful projects and shape the future of network security.

Open to remote candidates outside the state of Indiana. Must be open to 25% travel.

For local candidates, this position is located outside of the Indianapolis, Indiana area. 3 days in office per week, 2 days remote.
