Experience
& Skills Requirements:
- Experience:
- 5–7
years in Network Engineering (required).
- 10+
years total technical experience (preferred).
- Core
Technical Skills (Must-Have):
- Strong
knowledge of LAN switching on Cisco platforms.
- Deep
understanding of the OSI Model.
- Experience
with Cisco 9300 and 9500 series switches.
- Familiarity
with OSPF and EIGRP routing.
- Layer
1 troubleshooting skills (fiber, optics, physical infrastructure).
- Cisco
Catalyst Center (formerly DNA Center) – config pushes, audits,
troubleshooting.
- Additional
Desirable Skills:
- Wireless
knowledge (basic).
- Experience
with scripting and automation tools.
- Cisco
certifications (CCNA or higher preferred).
- Cross-functional
understanding of firewall, WAN, etc.
Interview

Education
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s

Details
As a LAN Analyst for the Client Americas team, you will have the opportunity to
work both independently and as part of a team on complex network projects. You
will develop your professional network and leadership skills as you support a
wide variety of network-related solutions. You will also utilize your technical
skillset and business understanding to help solve critical business problems.
This role will work with the Client LAN team to provide support for all Client
locations across the Americas.
Position’s Contributions to Work Group: - As a LAN Analyst for the Client Americas team, you will have the opportunity
to work both independently and as part of a team on complex network projects.
You will develop your professional network and leadership skills as you support
a wide variety of network-related solutions. You will also utilize your
technical skillset and business understanding to help solve critical business
problems.
- This role will work with the Client LAN team to provide support for all
Client locations across the Americas.
Typical task breakdown: - Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve LAN issues and replace defective
components as needed
- Respond as needed to support requests that relate to LAN development and
support
- Provide off-shift support for critical incidents. Team members rotate through
an on-call schedule, requiring occasional off-shift and weekend support calls
- Work directly, as needed, with business partners and vendors with integration
of infrastructure
- Design and implement processes and process improvements to aid in development
and support
- Follow ITSM process and documentation for all changes
- Collaborate with other technical teams as needed to plan and execute changes
(i.e., firewall, VPN, wireless, NAC, etc.)
- Advise business partners regarding technical questions/issues in the LAN
space
Interaction with team: - Will be with a few teams within Client (LAN team) , also collaborate with
Security team and Firewall team and other IT teams as needed.
Work environment:
- 5x days onsite (Monday- Friday)
Education & Experience Required: - Bachelors/Master’s degree with 10+ years experience
Technical Skills
(Required)- 5-7 years of progressively responsible roles in the Network Engineering space
- LAN implementation and support, knowledge of risk domains, tiered domains,
TCP/IP fundamentals, ethernet, QoS, IP subnetting, cabling (copper &
fiber), OSPF, VLAN Trunking, VLANs, and switching configuration
- Functional experience with LAN operations and implementation utilizing Cisco
switches and familiarity with Cisco equipment
- Ability to work in a team atmosphere and collaborate with others in a
positive manner
(Desired) - Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
- Experience with automation technologies and scripting
- Experience with DNA Center (Catalyst Center)
- Wireless knowledge and experience
- Relevant work experience with medium to large companies
Soft Skills

Interview Process: - 1ST call with be Lab questions and if they pass that, they will then be
scheduled for 2nd interview. ( VIA teams meeting)
