Job Description
JSG is hiring an HR Coordinator - must have Workday experience for our client in Twinsburg, OH. This is a 3+ months contract opportunity with 100% onsite.
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Coordinator with a strong foundation in HR operations and a working knowledge of Workday to join our team in the manufacturing/aerospace industry. This role plays a key part in supporting the HR function across multiple areas including employee onboarding, HRIS data management, compliance, and general employee support.Key Responsibilities:
Act as the first point of contact for employee HR-related inquiries and provide timely resolution or escalation.
Support the onboarding and offboarding process, including I-9 verification, background checks, and new hire orientation.
Maintain and update employee records in Workday , ensuring data integrity and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Generate and distribute HR reports, metrics, and dashboards from Workday as needed.
Assist in the coordination of employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and internal communications.
Collaborate with payroll, benefits, and talent acquisition teams to ensure seamless HR service delivery.
Help ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
Support HR process improvement initiatives and participate in cross-functional projects.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in a human resources support role, preferably within manufacturing or aerospace .
Hands-on experience with Workday (HRIS); comfortable navigating, updating, and reporting.
Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Outlook).
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
