Physical Therapist (PT) - School Based Therapy Services - Responsibilities Job Duties :
- Assesses and evaluates student's physical, gross motor and mobility needs that negatively impact the student's ability to benefit from special education.
- Design and implement physical therapy (PT) programs for students.
- Participate in the development of Individual Education Plans (IEP), developing appropriate intervention plans to make progress toward achieving IEP goals / objectives.
- Utilize adaptive equipment and technology to assist students with significant mental and physical disabilities.
License - Education - Certification Requirements :
- Masters or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited PT program
- WA DOH PT License or WA PT Compact License
- WA ESA Certification
- Successful Completion of WSP/OSPI Fingerprint Background
